If my daughter's Ugg boots are ripped from an animal chewing on them, can I get a new pair?

My kitten got to my daughter's Ugg boots and now they have two (2) holes in one of the boots. I heard that if an animal is the cause of a rip or tear, I can get a new pair free. Is that true?
