How can we move forward from desiring an end to monarchy to actually removing it?

Looking at republic a href="http://www.republic.org.uk/What%20we%20want/In%20depth/Royal%20finances/index.php" rel="nofollow"http://www.republic.org.uk/What%20we%20w…/a and realising how much the royal family costs us, I don't understand how we're prepared to put up with the costs ociated with having a special family who happen to be the lovely royal one. If you're for the royal family then why not pay me that amount of money to effectively shmoose and lounge around? Trust me I could do it. And I'd give a lot better value for money. What's the next step in dissolving the monarchy? I've quite had enough of it.
