What is the best bagged upright vacuum cleaner on the Market at the moment?

all the new ones now seem to be bagless and i have a dust allergy and prefer to just chuck the bag away in the bin-its much cleaner!!! I owned a Hoover Bagless one and it only lasted me 12 months-it kept turning itself off after hoovering 1 room! It was useless!! Any ideas would be much appreciated before i go out there and buy one! Dont suggest a Sebo etc as i dont want to pay that much for one 0k?!
