How did the motives of the Virginia colonists differ form those of the separatists who settled in Plymouth?

Well, for the most part the Virginia colonists were people who owed debt to the Royalty of England, they came to the New World in order to start fresh, and maybe get rich with whatever treasures they might find there. The Plymouth settlers came to mainly practice a religion that wasn't a part of the Church of England.
