Will my daughters hair fall out??

My baby is six months old. She has a lot of hair and it is very wavy. Her hair covers her eyes and always looks very messy no matter how much i brush it. I started putting it up on top (like a pebbles look). She looks soooo adorable. i am worried though that it may fall out due to putting it up. Does anyone know if it will fall out or if it is okay?
