What does it take him so long to respond back?

okay so im a softmore and this guy is guy is a junior. He was the one who noticed me, and found out my name. He started yelling my name in halls and way saying hi to me. I had no idea who he was, but thought he was pretty cute. One night/morning i get a friend request on facebook and a inbox. it was from him. We stated taking, and he has asked for my sn. The only problem is it takes him a day to respond. So what do you think, im being pernoid or his just not intrested.
