you shouldn't have to rationalize your behavior like that. Just tell him the truth. If he is a "creep" maybe it will scare him into leaving you alone, and make him think you are suspicious. If he is a nice guy then he will understand your phobias. How did you get set up with this dude anyway? He sounds kinda spooky
