Can you recommend books on judicial politics/diversity in the judiciary and or with reference to selection?

I suggest Maryland v. McCullough by Mark Killenbeck. It is limited to that one case, but it is very indepth and yzes each justice at the time of the decision and the politics affecting the decision.
